Invisalign uses clear, removable aligners to straighten teeth without brackets or wires. Most adult cases take 6–18 months. Cost: $3,500–$7,000 depending on case complexity; many PPO plans cover $1,500–$2,000. We show you a 3D digital preview of your expected result before treatment begins, so you know exactly what you’re committing to.
How does Invisalign work, and how long does it take?
Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom-fitted aligners to gradually move your teeth into the correct position. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before moving to the next in the series. Most patients wear them 22 hours per day and notice results within a few months.
Dr. Aletaha is an experienced Invisalign provider. She uses digital scanning, no messy traditional impressions, and shows you a 3D preview of your expected results before you commit to treatment.
Is Invisalign right for you? Conditions it treats.
Invisalign treats most common alignment issues including crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, and crossbite. It works for adults and teenagers, Invisalign Teen includes compliance indicators and comes with replacement aligners for active patients. Complex cases may still require traditional braces. We evaluate your specific case and give you an honest recommendation.

Frequently asked questions
Invisalign treatment at Spring Valley Dental typically ranges from $3,500–$7,000 depending on the complexity of your case. Mild cases can be significantly less. We review the exact cost at your consultation. Most PPO dental plans cover Invisalign the same way they cover braces. CareCredit and Cherry financing are available.
Most adult cases take 12–18 months; simple cases with minor spacing issues can finish in as little as 6. Complex bite corrections may take longer. Dr. Aletaha will give you a realistic estimate based on your digital scan.
You can drink plain water with aligners in. For everything else, including coffee, tea, and food, remove your aligners first. This is one of the biggest advantages over traditional braces: no restricted food lists.
There's usually a brief adjustment period of 1–3 days where you may notice a slight lisp. Most patients adapt quickly and report no noticeable speech change within the first week.
Retention is critical to keeping your results. We provide custom retainers and give you clear guidance on how often to wear them. Skipping retainers is the most common reason teeth shift back after treatment.
Invisalign vs. braces, and why patients choose us
Traditional braces use brackets and wires and are typically more effective for complex tooth movement. Invisalign uses removable clear aligners changed every 1–2 weeks, with no food restrictions and far less visibility. Most adults and teens with mild to moderate alignment issues are good Invisalign candidates. We evaluate your case honestly at your consultation, if braces would serve you better, we'll say so.
